Violetgrass

This large, brown grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in sparse patches that are robust.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, violet puff.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
