Blueleaf Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This large tree grows up to 85 meters (278.9 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 142 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, straight trunk covered in ridged, brown-green bark, and inside, the very dense wood is pale yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are very short and thin and are covered with sparse amounts of smooth, small, spear shaped leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in blue and orange varieties.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, brown seed pods.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
