Golden Vine

This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 81 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many sturdy, crooked stems covered in thin, silky, black bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of small, very narrow and elongated, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are white on the edges and yellow at the center, flimsy and clammy.

It produces copious amounts of medium-sized, gold flowers with slender, pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are very delicate and have a soft scent that smells like vanilla. In early summer it forms smallorange berries.
