Cyanleaf Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 56 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a sturdy, straight trunk covered in delicate, waxy, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the very hard wood is silver.
The excessive amount of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with copious amounts of smooth, miniature, very thin leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are either cyan, or blood red with purple edges.
In late summer it forms tiny, florescent red, shelled seeds.
The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.
All parts of the moss are edible.
