Cliffvine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 602 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a very thick, crooked trunk covered in waxy, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is burgundy-brown.
The abundance of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with handfuls of fuzzy, large, perforated leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are hazel on the sides and azure at the center.
In early spring, it produces a handful of giant, lime blossoms with 5 teardrop-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like faeces.
In late summer it forms small, copper berries.
The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making strong rope
