Turquoise
Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 39 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has numerous very thick, wavy stems covered in thin, silky, brown-green speckled bark, and the wood inside is brown.
The branches trail down to the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of small, finger-like, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are solid turquoise with red dots, rigid and sticky.
In early summer it produces a thick sheet of medium-sized, deep purple blossoms with fan-like petals. They are sturdy and have an overpowering scent that smells like something putrid.
In midwinter asymmetrical fruits ripen. The smooth turquoise skin is thin and inedible, and the slightly crunchy deep purple flesh is sweet and very juicy. The brown seed is small and sits at the end of the fruit.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
