Burgundy Vine

This huge vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 624 feet (190.2 meters) and growing as high as 688 feet (209.7 meters).

It takes 11 years for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 5.0 feet (1.5 meters) and are smooth and woody.

The thick, crispy leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are olive with crimson tips, and have smooth edges.
