Orange Winding Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This massive, orange grass grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thick clumps that are light and frail and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, florescent green flower.
During the early autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
