Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 25 feet (7.6 meters) and growing as high as 108 feet (32.9 meters).

It takes 10 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The long, tapering, clammy leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are blood red and green, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of average blood red flowers.
