Burgundyvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 189 feet (57.6 meters) and growing as high as 22 feet (6.7 meters).

It takes 22 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1.7 feet (51 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The wide, leathery leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are brown and orange, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many tiny cyan flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small seed pods.

It is said to be the favourite flower of a legendary person.
