Burgundy Vine

This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 287 feet (87.5 meters).

It takes 4 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The sickle shaped, leathery leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are peach on the edges and white at the center, and have wavy edges.
