Copper-colored
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 199 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has a wide, straight trunk covered in rough, copper-coloured bark, and inside, the light wood is yellow.
The branches are short stubs and are covered with thick bunches of rough, huge, broad, flat leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are generally light brown.
In late summer it forms tiny, azure aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It can survive a very long time without water.
