Copperflower

Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its copper stems grow in bunches of 7 and are thin with a curved tip, and the miniature, pink-red leaves are fan-like with rounded edges. 27 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Each stem splits 5 to 9 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 7 cm (2.8 inches) wide, with solid grey petals decorated with pink lines and a purple central disk. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of 20 widely spaced, narrow petals. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like a man, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind and is ignored by most insect species.

It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
