Silver Puffgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This large, silver grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in sparse patches that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, ashy green puff.
During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
