Azurecling

This modest-sized tree grows up to 39 meters (128.0 feet) tall and lives for over 1,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 1468 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a wide, curved trunk covered in delicate, wrinkled, light brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is pale brown.

The excessive amount of branches are tall, rigid and upright, with hundreds of twigs covered with large amounts of large, green needles. The needles themselves are sturdy.

In late summer it produces giant, azure aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
