Brownvine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is very thick, and the miniature, brown leaves are very narrow and elongated with smooth edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid brown petals and a lime central disk. The flower head is largely flat with many raised round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.

It has an intense scent that smells like marzipan, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.

It is suitable for making strong rope
