Copper
Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large flower grows up to 4.8 feet (1.4 meters) tall. Its light brown stems grow in bunches of 8 and are thin and straight, and the huge, copper leaves are light green on the underside and are long, narrow with rounded edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.
Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 23 cm (9.1 inches) wide, with slate petals and a violet central disk. The flower head is shaped like a cup with 12 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They are hardy.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like pineapple, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
