Crimson Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 30 feet (9.1 meters).
It takes 17 months for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.
The thick, clammy leaves reach up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) in length. They are a shade of red that gradient shifts to muted yellow at the top, and have serrated edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces thick bunches of large light brown flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of very large berries.
It is suitable for making paper
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
