Turquoise
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This giant leaf succulent grows up to 168 feet (51.2 meters) tall. The thick stem is turquoise, and is covered in many flexible red spines. The toothed-edged, broad, flat leaves are lime and blue. Sparse amounts of them grow from the base in a spiral pattern. The leaves are sturdy, and take little effort to detach.
It is fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are dark brown in the center, blue in the middle and green at the edges grows at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is largely flat with 4 raised narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like candle wax.
The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the olive flesh is rough, and the hazel sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
