Copperbell
Flower type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This massive flower grows up to 14.6 feet (4.4 meters) tall. Its copper and gray-green stems grow in bunches of 4 and are very thick and straight, and the large, sky blue leaves are long, narrow with rounded edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Two tiny flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 48 cm (18.9 inches) wide, with petals that are gold in the center, indigo in the middle and pink at the edges. The flower head is largely flat with 39 widely spaced round-tipped petals. They are sturdy.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like cotton, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
