This average-sized flower grows up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. Its gray stem is very thick and splits into dozens of branching stems at the top, and the tiny, copper leaves are dark orange on the underside and are very thick with ripped edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
