Silverleaf Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized tree grows up to 7 meters (23.0 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 541 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, crooked trunk covered in delicate, silky, silver bark, and inside, the dense wood is yellow.

The excessive amount of branches are very long and slender and are covered with sparse amounts of smooth, huge, very thin leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are silver at the bottom and grey with beige streaks at the top.

In late summer it forms giant, orange, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.

It is suitable for making strong rope
