Amber Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 39 feet (11.9 meters) and growing as high as 66 feet (20.1 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 4 years for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The very narrow and elongated, soft leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are turquoise at the bottom and amber with lilac patches at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of average crimson flowers.

It coexists peacefully with other plants.
