Silver Spike

This average-sized cactus grows up to 61 feet (18.6 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 5 asymmetrical stems. Each stem is silver, and is covered in handfuls of flexible slate spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either copper or turquoise, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is made up of 4 petals in raised layers. It has a delicate scent that smells like cotton.

The cactus's skin is very thick, the pink flesh is smooth, and the slate sap is thin and causes vomiting if consumed.
