Ambervine

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its amber stem is thin and straight with a curved tip, and the miniature, orange-yellow leaves are slender, pointed with rounded edges. The leaves grow from the base and are the same length as the stem.

3 to 7 tiny flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide, with petals that are either silver or green, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 curved petals. They are hardy.

It has a powerful scent that smells like wet dog, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
