This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 267 feet (81.4 meters) and growing as high as 23 feet (7.0 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of small dark grey flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces plenty of very large berries.
