Crimson Clinger

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its gray-green or crimson stem is thick and splits into several branching stems at the base, and the giant, faded orange leaves are spear shaped with serrated edges. 5 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Each stem splits 6 to 10 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 15 cm (5.9 inches) wide, with petals that are beige on the underside and gold on the top. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 42 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has an intense scent that smells like burning wood, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to bees.

It is suitable for making paper
