Yellow-Green Succulent

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 66 feet (20.1 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 4 fan-like stems. Each stem is yellow-green, and is covered in sharp spines. The round body is brown, and is dotted with small brown spines.

It is fast growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with alternating petals of olive and amber, with a drab orange central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight bowl. It has a strong scent that smells like sugar.

The cactus's skin is thin, the caramel flesh is soft, and the turquoise sap is thin.
