Bronzeleaf
Tree type: Deciduous (Sheds its leaves in winter)This big tree grows up to 83 meters (272.3 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 153 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has a sturdy, twisting trunk covered in smooth, light brown bark, and inside, the dense wood is dark brown.
The small handful of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with thick bunches of leathery, small, wispy leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are found in bronze, olive and vivid blue varieties.
In late summer it forms giant, lime, spiky-shelled seeds.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with patches of undergrowth between them.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
