Caramel
Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This short caudiciform grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The thin stem is lime green, and is covered in dozens of flexible caramel spines. The very thick, caramel trunk can grow to as much as 5 feet (1.5 meters) in diameter. Its silver branches are tall, rigid and upright.
The smooth-edged, asymmetrical leaves are sky blue and muted yellow. They are delicate, and easily come away when pulled.
It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid crimson petals decorated with turquoise dots and a lilac central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is made up of 10 petals in raised layers. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like vomit.
The caudiciform's skin is thin, the hazel flesh is soft, and the dark red sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
