Silverbell
Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its silver stem is thick and straight with a curved tip, and the small, gray and dark brown leaves are slender, pointed with tattered edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
Each stem splits 3 to 7 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 12 cm (4.7 inches) wide, with cream petals that gradient shift to slate on the outer edge. The central disk is black. The flower head is largely flat with handfuls of tightly layered narrow petals. They detach easily.
It has a weak scent that smells like apple, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
