Ambervine
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 37 feet (11.3 meters) and growing as high as 319 feet (97.2 meters).
It takes 19 months for the hazel and orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are hard and brittle.
The fan-like, smooth leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are solid lilac or blue, with intense yellow splotches, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces hundreds of small amber flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of tiny fruits.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
