Clinging Conifer

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for over 1,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 1644 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a slender, wonky trunk covered in hard, ridged, dark green bark, and inside, the very hard wood is burgundy.

The excessive amount of branches are long and thick, with hundreds of twigs covered with sparse amounts of tiny, emerald needles. The needles themselves are delicate.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, dull green, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
