Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 335 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a narrow, straight trunk covered in paper-thin, smooth, dark gray bark, and inside, the very hard wood is white with black speckles.
The abundance of branches are short stubs and are covered with small amounts of smooth, giant, oval-shaped leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are purple at the bottom and aquamarine with amber edges at the top.
In early spring, it produces lots of giant, turquoise blossoms with slender, pointed petals. They fall easily and have a weak scent that smells like cinnamon.
In late summer it forms giant, light brown, spiky-shelled seeds.
The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
