Bronzefern
Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This large tree grows up to 69 meters (226.4 feet) tall and lives seemingly forever, with many known specimen being tens of thousands of years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a flexible, wavy trunk covered in paper-thin, wrinkled, light brown bark, and inside, the very hard wood is light brown.
The small handful of branches are very short and slender, with dozens of twigs covered with sparse amounts of tiny, lime green needles. The needles themselves are strong.
In late summer it produces medium-sized, bronze, tough-shelled seeds.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
