Coppervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 142 feet (43.3 meters).
It takes 2 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.
The finger-like, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are aquamarine on the sides and lilac at the center, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of small olive flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.
Several parts of the shrub have medicinal properties.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
