Copper-Coloured Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized tree grows up to 50 meters (164.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 695 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a slender, wonky trunk covered in cracked, brown bark, and inside, the very light wood is copper-coloured.
The numerous branches trail down to the ground and are covered with sparse amounts of smooth, tiny, pleated leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid peach or sky blue, with lilac splotches.
In early spring, it produces many tiny, peach blossoms with wide petals. They are sturdy and have the faintest scent that smells like paint.
In late summer it forms small, silver, spiky-shelled seeds.
The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
