Silvergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)This short, washed-out blue or light grey grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The teardrop-shaped stalks grow in thin clumps that are durable.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, drab green flower.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
