Indigo Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is gray-green, and is covered in hundreds of flexible white spines. The serrated-edged, finger-like leaves are brown and indigo. Sparse amounts of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are delicate, but take some effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are cyan in the center, green in the middle and blood red at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 60 petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like sweat.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the turquoise flesh is leathery, and the olive sap is thin.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
