Copper Glow

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is very thick, and the huge, copper leaves are very narrow and elongated with rounded edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Many giant flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with petals that are lime in the center, bronze in the middle and intense green at the edges. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has a delicate scent that smells like rainy days, and it has lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is bio-luminescent.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
