Crimsongrass

This average-sized, pink-red grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, intense green spikelet.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
