Orange Glow
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This colossal leaf succulent grows up to 158 feet (48.2 meters) tall. The wide stem is moss green, and is covered in dozens of flexible florescent orange spines. The ripped-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are solid dark brown with hazel patches. Copious amounts of them grow from the base like blades of grass. The leaves are tough, but do not detach easily.
It is very slow growing, taking 32 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid crimson petals decorated with lime lines and a grey central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is largely flat with 37 raised narrow petals. It has an intense scent that smells like mint.
The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the grey flesh is rubbery, and the blue sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
