Bronzevine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 35 feet (10.7 meters) and growing as high as 142 feet (43.3 meters).

It takes 2 years for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The very thin, leathery leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) in length. They are slate and bronze, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of large dark yellow flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of very large seed pods.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
