Bronzevine

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for around 29 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has many stocky, slanted stems covered in delicate, wrinkled, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is brown.

The branches are short stubs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, finger-like, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are generally bronze, resistant and leathery.

It produces many clusters of small, white flowers with finger-like petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have an intensely strong scent that smells like coconut. In early winter it forms giantbronze aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
