Bronze

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short caudiciform grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall. The thick stem is brown, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible bold green spines. The thick, gnarled, brown trunk can grow to as much as 8 feet (2.4 meters) in diameter. Its moss green branches are short and thin.

The smooth-edged, thin leaves are bronze and sky blue. They are flimsy, but do not detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are lilac on the underside and sky blue on the top grows at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is largely flat with 59 raised narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like musk.

The caudiciform's skin is nearly impenetrable, the sky blue flesh is waxy, and the pink sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
The sap causes severe rashes
