Cyanleaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 24 feet (7.3 meters) tall. The tapering stem is yellow, and is covered in brittle cream spines. The serrated-edged, very narrow and elongated leaves are light brown and cyan. Small amounts of them grow from the base in a random bunch. The leaves are sturdy, but detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are orange on the underside and lime on the top grow at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 35 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like mint.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the lime flesh is leathery, and the peach sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It is frequently struck by lightning.
