Burgundy Tree
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This colossal tree grows up to 111 meters (364.2 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 122 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a narrow, straight trunk covered in fine, smooth, burgundy and brown bark, and inside, the very light wood is burgundy.
The small bunches of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with copious amounts of smooth, giant, thin leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are either yellow or silver, with magenta zig-zags.
In late summer it forms giant, gold, tough-shelled seeds.
The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
