Clinging Pine

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This massive tree grows up to 102 meters (334.7 feet) tall and lives for over 3,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 3824 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, angular trunk covered in hard, silky, dark green bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is yellow-brown.

The branches are long and thin, covered with sparse amounts of huge, lime needles. The needles themselves are frail.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, gold, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
