Crimson Vine

This enormous vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,454 feet (443.2 meters) and growing as high as 937 feet (285.6 meters).

It takes 46 years for the yellow-green and lime green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2.3 feet (71 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The slender, pointed, rough leaves reach up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) in length. They are hazel with crimson tips, and have smooth edges.
