Clingshine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 179 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of sturdy, wonky stems covered in thick, smooth, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, long, narrow, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are bronze and blue, delicate and waxy.

In late summer it produces several small, blood red blossoms with kidney-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a weak scent that smells like rotten eggs.

In early winter 7 pointed fruits ripen. The fuzzy brown skin is peel-able and inedible, and the soft peach flesh is bland and dry. The red seed is very large and sits at the end of the fruit.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
It is bio-luminescent.
